The Abundant Life By Mrs Nkoyo Rapu Of This Present House Lekki,Lagos
Luke 13: 10 – 17: After the healing of the woman with infirmity for eighteen years, everyone rejoiced. The ruler of the synagogue recognized that Jesus was radical, he healed on the Sabbath which was against tradition. Jesus healed her of her infirmity. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus has come to give us abundant life. This is the Zoe life. This is the very being and essence of who God is.
Adam lost the Zoe life because of sin, sin separates us from God. As long as we are able to plug into the Zoe life, problems are not supposed to drown us. Through it all, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. It is our entitlement as children of God, and we need to tap into it. There are things that can prevent us from enjoying the Zoe life, we must pray them away.
The Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness. Ephesians 6:12. However, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. The weapons we fight with are not of the world.
Daniel 10:11 – 13: From the time Daniel stood up to pray God answered his prayer. He was standing in faith for 21 days. He was praying for Israel’s release from captivity. He fought the good fight of faith. He kept declaring the word that God will not fail. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God in the pulling down of strongholds. God maintains the integrity of His word. We need to stand in faith and keep our declarations high.
Whatever is holding us captive, we need to deal with it spiritually, in the realm of the spirit through prayers. We then become the new line who carries the DNA of God, broken away from principalities. Whatever we have gone through in life, it doesn’t matter to God. We are still worthy of his mercy and abundant life. No matter what life has wrapped around us, it can never distort the value God has placed within us.
God is not a man that should lie or change His mind. His word does not return to Him void. As Christians, we are the apple of God’s eyes. Our names are engraved in his palms. We must not perish for lack of knowledge. Jesus was tested in all things, but he did not sin. He forever lives to make intercessions for us. God is longsuffering, and a God of justice. However, we must not continue in sin because grace abounds.
God bless you as you go into the week..
